Frequently Asked Questions

  • No diving, running, or rough play allowed.
  • All swimmers must shower before entering pool.
  • All children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Children not toilet trained must wear swim diapers or liner at all times.
  • Please use locker rooms or Family Changing Rooms to change your child’s suit. Changing on pool decks is prohibited.
  • No glass, gum, soap, or food allowed in pool area.
  • Smoking is not permitted on facility property.
  • Proper swim attire must be worn. No cutoffs or t-shirts allowed
  • Full face snorkel masks are not permitted
  • When there are more than 2 swimmers per lanes, everyone must circle swim
  • Spitting, blowing of the nose or discharging of bodily waste in the pool is prohibited.
  • Sitting or hanging on float lines is not allowed.
  • All Lifejackets Must be US Coast Guard-approved for use in the pool.
  • Lifeguards reserve the right to inspect and apporive any personal lifejacket.
  • Please obey the lifeguard at all times.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Lap Swimming and Aqua Classes are available for all members.*
  2. Family Swim is available for ALL ages.
  3. Lap Swim is available for all members.*

*IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PARENTS: Please read the section labeled Youth Swim Policies.

  1. YOUTH POLICIES:
    1. General Youth Supervision Policy:
      • Children who have not passed the swim test must have a parent or guardian in the water within arm’s reach at all times regardless of swimming ability.
      • Children under the age of 12 must have a parent or guardian on the pool deck at all times regardless of swimming ability.
      • Children 12 and above may swim without a parent or guardian present.
      • Lifeguards may swim check any child with questionable swimming ability and limit them to specific areas of the pool.
    2. Lap Swimming:
      • Youth are allowed to participate in lap swim as long as they are swimming continuously and do not cause a disturbance to other swimmers
      • Lifeguards reserve the ability to swim test any member, at any time.
    3. Aqua Fitness Classes:
      • Youth ages 12 and up may participate in aquatic group fitness classes.

      • Lifeguards reserve the ability to swim test any member, at any time.

    4. Swim Testing Policies

      • Lifeguards reserve the ability to swim test any member, regardless of age, who we question whether or not may have the ability to be safe in the pool independently.

      • Lifejackets are available to any one that we feel may need additional support in the water.

      • Swim Tests will include the following:

        • Swim the length of the pool using a strong and consistent forward stroke without stopping.
        • Climb out of the pool without using a ladder or the floor to assist you.
        • Jump in feet first.

  • No noodles, pool floats, or arm floats allowed during Family Swim.
  • Kickboards may be used as long as they are being used correctly.
  • Large slides require rider to be 48″ tall. Life jackets, footwear, eyewear and other bulky items and not permitted down the slides.
  • Lifeguards have the authority to restrict equipment use if members or guests are observed using it improperly.
  • Water Walking:

    • Members may walk or work out in portion of the pool that is not being utilized by Aqua Class 
    • No Walking in lanes being utilized during Aqua Classes
    • Lifeguard reserve the right to politely ask any member to move lanes at any time.
  • Lap Swimming:

    • Lap Lanes are first-come-first serve. During peak usage it will become necessary for you to circle swim with other swimmer.
    • When entering a lane with other swimmer, notify them that you will be joining the lane.
    • When entering shallow lanes never dive.
    • Lifeguards reserve the right to politely ask any member to move lanes at any time.

  • Locks are available for rent ($1) to use on Lockers if you did not bring your own.
  • Locker are available for day use only. (Items left over night will be removed and placed in lost and found)
  • Valuables cannot be accepted for safekeeping at front desk.
  • No Towel Service (please bring your own towel)
  • No Cell Phone, Camera or Video Equipment of any kind is to be used in the locker room.
  • Food or Drink of any kind is prohibited in locker room. Plastic water bottles are permitted. No Glass of any kind.
  • Bring your own water bottle. (Glassware is not permitted.)
  • Bring proper roper swim suit attire.
  • Bring your own towel
  • Bring your membership card.
  • Restrooms are available.
  • Service animals are welcomed.
